Go for Good 2024 will benefit Hays County Composite Mountain Biking Team! November through May, Hays CISD and homeschooled high school and middle school students compete as a team in 6 races in various Texas locations against over 40 other teams. Team members bring their own bikes or borrow from a small pool of bikes available to get a new team member started. This team has won awards multiple times in the past year for performance but also for sportsmanship. We are proud to help raise some funds the team will use for safety equipment and to possibly aid in maintaining their pool of bikes

Inflatable Costume Scramble! This will be a scramble through the parking lot, about a half K, with participants dressed in their own inflatable costumes! Get your camera ready, this is sure to be a hoot!

DOG and STROLLER are add ons - bibs only - and mean a bib will be assigned to your dog or your stroller. Owner must register for the event as a participant in the 5K.
NOTE FOR VIRTUAL: If you need your packet shipped, please Venmo $5 to @fortheloveofgo and indicate in the comments what the funds are for. Packets will be shipped at the conclusion of the event.

Bib Numbers 1-1004 AND 2000-2016 - you are considered EARLY REGISTRATION -- that's the line you'll head to at Packet Pickup on Race Morning
All other numbers are considered LATE REGISTRATION and that’s where you'll head to at Packet Pickup on Race Morning
Early Registrants: Dog and Stroller Bibs will be in the packets of the Registered Owner. If you did not register yourself and only registered your dog or stroller, you will not be given a dog or stroller bib until you register yourself.

Extra shirts are ordered conservatively so as not to expend funds on shirts that could go to the cause. If having a shirt is important to you, please register by Shirt Guarantee Deadline, January 1.
Races start and finish in the parking lot, Bales Gym, at the address listed at the top of this page, last parking lot before Mountain City.
We are Rain or Shine, Hot or Cold.
5K is chip timed.
Online Early Registration will close 4 days before race day. Late registration is available during stated Packet Pickup times above.
If you register after early registration closes, you are considered late registration and you can still sign up online! When you get to packet pickup or race morning, follow the signs for Late Registration.
Late Registration closes 15 minutes before race start time.
No refunds, but you may transfer your registration to another person.
Packets may be picked up by another person.
We allow late starts up to 10 minutes after start time. If you are later than that and you choose to start, note that you may not have support, coverage, or directional markings, and you will not be timed - with love!
All Registration Changes must be handled on race morning with the timing company.
If offered, Packets to be shipped will be shipped following the close of the race.
All packets not retrieved by race start time will be considered donations.
