This event promotes wellness: physical, emotional, social, spiritual, occupational, environmental, and intellectual health. In addition, the 5K will help bring awareness for one of our local communities: UIW Food Pantry. The UIW Community Food Pantry along with St. Vicent de Paul. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul operates a food "co-op" with its 75 Conferences in South Texas through the dedication of over 2,300 Vincentians. Emergency food, clothing, and other assistance are provided at no cost to the recipient.

7:00 am - Registration and packet pickup- at the starting line by the UIW police kiosk
7:40 am - Prayer
7:45 am - National Anthem
7:50 am - Race line up
8:00 am - 5K Start
Will be on the day of the race near the starting line
1-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-99
We are RAIN or SHINE.
Start and Finish are on the UIW campus.
Prepare appropriately for the weather! Check the temperatures before you come, and dress for your best race.
Parking is on the hilltop in the Red McCombs and Ancira garages
The race starts at 8 a.m. sharp and is chip-timed!
The awards ceremony will take place as soon as results are tallied.
